Covenant Living Names Baltimore Chief Operating Officer

SKOKIE, IL — Covenant Living Communities and Services, a nonprofit, faith-based senior living organization headquartered in this Chicago suburb, has announced in a press release the addition of Darrell Baltimore as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Baltimore works closely with executive leadership at Covenant Living and with top leadership at each of the organization’s 20 communities across the country guiding operations such as dining services, facilities management, resident life, skilled nursing, assisted living and memory support.
“Darrell’s strategic vision and collaborative approach will be instrumental in guiding our organization through the evolving dynamics within the field of senior living,” said David Erickson, Covenant Living president/CEO. “His senior living experience will direct our operations at our communities to even greater levels of success.”
“A big focus for me will be on the resident experience at our communities to ensure we maintain operational excellence and the highest standard of care in everything we do,” said Baltimore. “My approach to enhancing the resident experience will be through collaboration with my colleagues and ensuring there is empowerment, trust, and respect at all levels. Baltimore brings a deep understanding of senior living with more than 25 years of experience in the field of senior housing and dining operations. He most recently served as a senior leader at Vi Senior Living.
