HMP Senior Solutions Announces Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

NASHVILLE, TN—Nashville-based HMP Senior Solutions, a leading provider of operational management and leadership for senior living and skilled nursing facilities, announced yesterday that Shawn O’Conner has been appointed to the position of president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. He will be replacing Scott Phillips, who will be transitioning into the newly created role of chairman of HMP Senior Solutions. O’Conner has served as the company’s executive vice president and chief development officer since April 2022.

O’Conner has more than a decade in health care leadership and success in leading the operations of health care organizations. Prior to joining HMP Senior Solutions, he served as the senior vice president of operations for Signature HealthCARE, LLC, where he was responsible for the overall management and operations of 50 skilled nursing and assisted living communities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.

O’Conner has a Master of Business Administration from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cumberland University.
