Legendary NFL QB Speaks at Kisco Signature Community

RALEIGH, NC — Senior living communities do so many exciting things for their residents, and that can be said about The Cardinal at North Hills, a Kisco Signature Community. The full-service life-plan community in this North Carolina city — which offers a full continuum of lifestyle options, from independent living to assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing care — recently held a Red-Carpet Speaker Series event featuring NFL legend and sports commentator Joe Theismann.

Theismann hosted a first-responders luncheon where he spoke about the “Challenge of Change,” a topic close to his heart due to the career-ending leg injury he sustained live on Monday Night Football in 1985. Theismann was a Super Bowl champion, a two-time NFL pro bowl quarterback, and a College Football Hall of Fame inductee (he played his collegiate games at Notre Dame).

The former NFL MVP spent 12 seasons with the Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders), and he still holds several team records, including passing yardage, completions, and attempts.
