May 20, 2022

KENNETT SQUARE, PA—Lisa M. Marsilio, CEO of Kendal-Crosslands Communities, has been appointed as a new board member to the Friends Services Alliance (FSA).

FSA is a professional association of organizations that serve older adults. FSA’s approach is rooted in Quaker heritage, focusing on best practices, the highest quality service and the belief that all people should be treated with dignity and respect.

“I am honored to support the mission of FSA,” said Marsilio. “FSA supports CCRCs/life plan communities, like Kendal-Crosslands Communities, as well as home care groups, foundations and other organizations that are aligned with senior services and aim to provide value-centered excellence. I am eager to use my strategic experience and passion for helping the older adult community in this new role, just as I have had the privilege of doing throughout my time at Kendal-Crosslands Communities.”

At Kendal-Crosslands Communities, Marsilio provides strategic direction, fiscal oversight and leadership. She also prioritizes engaging with residents, families, staff and the broader community. As she monitors the changing landscape of the senior living field, Marsilio proactively envisions mission-aligned strategic opportunities that enhance the lives of those that Kendal-Crosslands Communities serve. Among recent professional achievements and milestones at the community, she responded quickly to the pandemic in 2020, directed teams for an invigorated community revitalization plan, led partners through the design, development and groundbreaking phases of new living units and is nearing completion on the design phase of a brand new transformative health center.

Prior to joining Kendal-Crosslands Communities, Marsilio held leadership positions in the acute and post-acute health care field, developing strategic plans that improved operations, forecasted growth, increased revenues and built systems dedicated to quality and customer service.
