Meadow Ridge Names Patrick Boelens Plant Operations Director

REDDING, Conn. — Meadow Ridge has named Patrick Boelens plant operations director. He began the role Aug. 7 and succeeds Sal Gaetano, who retired after more than 24 years with the community.
Boelens brings 20 years of plant operations experience to the position. He previously held a plant operations leadership role at The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peekskill, N.Y. Before that, he led a team at West Point Military Academy responsible for the maintenance and operations of 820 homes and hundreds of acres of grounds.
At Meadow Ridge, Boelens oversees operations and maintenance across the community’s 136-acre campus, including 302 independent living homes and Ridge Crest, its health center for assisted living, memory care, subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing. His responsibilities also include landscaping, housekeeping and maintaining a safe and clean environment across the campus.

Boelens is a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and earned an associate degree in business administration from Mount St. Mary’s College.
