WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Watermark Retirement Communities has appointed Kevin Mitzner as executive director at The Watermark at West Palm Beach, the new luxury senior living community in this city on Florida’s east coast. Mitzner brings almost two decades of experience in senior living to The Watermark at West Palm Beach.

“I’m thrilled to have Kevin join The Watermark at West Palm Beach,” said David Barnes, CEO of Watermark Retirement Communities. “In just six months, this community has become a gem in West Palm Beach, full of wonderful personalities and programs. I am confident that Kevin will lead the community with professionalism, knowledge, and passion.”

Mitzner joins The Watermark at West Palm Beach from Sunrise Senior Living’s Stratford Court at Boca Pointe, a large community that accommodates all levels of care: independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. He was most recently the community’s associate executive director, a role he held for five years, directly overseeing the 155-bed assisted-living neighborhood.

“I am delighted to continue my journey in senior living at The Watermark at West Palm Beach,” said Mitzner in a press release. “I look forward to meeting the many wonderful people at The Watermark at West Palm Beach and building relationships with them and their families. For me, these relationships are what senior living is all about.”
