Norwalk Senior Living Community To Host Elvis Tribute Event To Raise Money for the Alzheimer’s Association

September 14, 2022

NORWALK, CT—A senior living community is making an impact for an important cause, and this time it’s through the sights and sounds of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. On Thursday, September 15, Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk will host its Paint the Night Purple fundraising event to benefit the local Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will be held from 4–6 p.m. on the roof deck at Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk, located at 123 Richards Ave. in Norwalk, and will feature an Elvis impersonator’s musical tribute, as well as delicious cuisine, a silent auction, wine pull and raffles. The suggested donation for admission is $10 at the door. Those who attend will enjoy a night of rock and roll on the rooftop, and all funds raised will be donated when Team Bridges participates in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Calf Pasture Beach in October.

“Bridges by EPOCH is dedicated to being a resource in the communities we serve,” said Addie Ricci, Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk executive director. “Any event where we can have fun—and, at the same time, support and give back to the Alzheimer’s Association—gives us great pride, purpose and fulfillment.”

The memory care assisted living community has been exclusively designed to support those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. Bridges provides residents with joy and peace during this time of life, and curates individualized care plans, wellness programs and enrichment services for every person.

“We work tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of families when they need caregiving, just as the Alzheimer’s Association strives to help through accelerated research focusing on risk reduction and early detection,” said Ricci. “We are grateful to be able to support this worthy cause through fun and purposeful events like Paint the Night Purple.”
