Oakmont of Pacific Beach Names Executive Director
WINDSOR, CA–Oakmont Senior Living has named Shawn Amirhoushmand executive director at Oakmont of Pacific Beach in San Diego.
Amirhoushmand comes to Oakmont of Pacific Beach, a senior living community, after working in post-acute care for more than two decades. He has served as co-chair for the San Diego Organization of Healthcare Leaders and was recently appointed by the San Diego Board of Supervisors to serve as a member of the Health Services Advisory Board.
“I am very honored and thrilled to be part of the Oakmont Senior Living family, and know I can use my extensive health care background in my role at Oakmont of Pacific Beach,” Amirhoushmand said.

Amirhoushmand’s diverse background provides him an opportunity to volunteer at local non-profit organizations and offer community mentoring to specific groups of residents.
His educational background includes degrees in psychology and business administration. He is a licensed administrator for residential care and skilled nursing facilities in the state of California.
When he is not working or volunteering in the community, Amirhoushmand enjoys playing racquetball and works to find the right balance between family, food and a new puppy.
