ON THE MOVE: Recent Personnel Moves in Senior Living

Meadow Ridge, a continuing care retirement community in Redding, Connecticut, welcomes three associates to new roles, according to a press release. Associate Executive Director Paul Brown, MBA, LNHA, has added the role of administrator of Ridge Crest, the community’s sub-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing center. In addition, Brianny Genao has joined Meadow Ridge as traditional care director and Christopher Harvey has been promoted to security/EMS supervisor. Brown has a diverse background in senior living, and he is a very familiar face around Meadow Ridge, having held various roles there since joining the community in 2015. Genao comes to Meadow Ridge from a Benchmark sister community, where she served as the memory care director and infection control specialist. She began her career as a certified nursing assistant, and she has worked her entire career in healthcare and senior living. Genao is a certified dementia care practitioner and Dementia Live specialist. Harvey has been promoted from the third shift position he’s held for the last year at Meadow Ridge. Harvey has worked as both a caregiver with Home Instead and as a firefighter/EMT in his native New Mexico.

LCB Senior Living, owner and operator of The Residence at Watertown Square, in Watertown, Massachusetts, has announced in a press release the appointment of Amanda Walker as sales and marketing director. Most recently serving as director of sales and marketing at Sophia Snow Place, Walker’s career highlights include sales and marketing at Benchmark Senior Living and business development at The Bulfinch Group.

Meanwhile. LCB Senior Living’s The Residence at South Windsor Farms in South Windsor, Connecticut, has named Amy Lombardi resident care director. Lombardi is a seasoned healthcare professional with more than 16 years of experience in assisted living and resident care. Most recently serving as RN designee and opal manager at Leisure Care in North Haven, Connecticut, her résumé includes a stint at Brookdale Senior Living in West Hartford, Connecticut. Her expertise includes dementia care, infection control, patient assessments, and staff development.

Goodwin Living, a not-for-profit, faith-based, senior living and health care services organization in the National Capital Region, has announced Hwan Yi, LNHA, MSW, MA, as the new executive director of Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads. Yi brings more than 20 years of experience in senior living to his new role; he served most recently as the health care center administrator for The Fairfax at Belvoir Woods, a Sunrise Senior Living continuing care retirement community in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He also has experience in support of older adults of varying means and diverse backgrounds through service to Birmingham Green, a low-income senior housing community in Manassas, Virginia, and the PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) program.

Max Ault will join Kendal as senior director of project integration, effective January 20, 2025, according to a LinkedIn post. Ault brings to the role more than 17 years of expertise in economic and community development, business strategy, and operations.
