July 3, 2024

COLUMBUS, OH — National Church Residences has added 94 apartment units to its already extensive Ohio portfolio with the acquisition of Corbly Trace (44 units) and Mount View Terrace (50), a pair of affordable senior-housing communities. According to a press release, both properties were purchased from Maple Knoll Communities and are located in Cincinnati, Ohio. With these acquisitions, National Church Residences has 112 affordable senior-housing communities and 8,364 apartments across Ohio.

“We are pleased to grow our presence in Cincinnati and welcome residents from Corbly Trace and Mount View into the National Church Residences family,” said Senior Director of Affordable Housing Acquisitions Daniel Patrick. “Our expert regional team members are committed to supporting our new seniors so they can remain living independently in their current homes.”

“As we transition the management of Mount View Terrace and Corbly Trace to National Church Residences, our foremost priority is ensuring a seamless experience for our senior residents,” said Tim McGowan, president of Maple Knoll Communities. “We are confident that the organization will uphold the high standards of the living environment, support services and care our community expects.”

Both communities feature their own library, community room, kitchen, and laundry facilities, along with an elevator, onsite maintenance, 24/7 security monitoring, and a service coordinator. Residents may choose from studio or one-bedroom apartments at Mount View, while Corbly Trace features one-bedroom floorplans.

Built in the 1990s, both communities will receive immediate repairs to preserve the buildings so they can continue serving seniors for many years into the future. Ruscilli Construction, based in Dublin, Ohio, is the general contractor and Columbus-based, Berardi Partners is the architect for the planned renovations.

Originating from a Christian commitment of service, National Church Residences provides an array of health care services and a variety of housing options to more than 65,000 older adults at more than 350 communities. The nonprofit organization is driven by a vision to scale for mission impact by advancing better living for 100,000 seniors by 2030, wherever they call home. The organization also offers a variety of additional senior living options, home- and community-based services, as well as permanent supportive housing for the formerly homeless and disabled.
