
Ridge Crest Associate Executive Director Named to 40 Under Forty List

REDDING, Conn. — Paul Brown, associate executive director of Ridge Crest health center at Meadow Ridge, has been named one of Westfair Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty honorees.
Brown was recognized during an awards presentation April 30 at The Stamford Hotel. The awards recognize young professionals in Fairfield County based on reader nominations and judges’ selections.
Ridge Crest is Meadow Ridge’s health center for assisted living, memory care, subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing. Brown has served residents and the broader community there since 2019.
“This is a well-deserved honor for Paul. His dedication to our community and his compassionate, caring approach touches entire families, and indeed, our broader community,” said Chris Barstein, campus executive director of Meadow Ridge. “The results of his efforts are shown in the excellent care that is provided at Ridge Crest.”
Brown said his work focuses on resident care and organizational performance.
“I am honored to be a part of this outstanding group of professionals,” Brown said. “I am grateful to be able to do this meaningful work, and I appreciate this opportunity to be recognized for it.”
Meadow Ridge is a continuing care retirement community in Redding, Conn. The community was recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Senior Living issue in the CCRC, independent living, assisted living and memory care categories. It also was recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Nursing Homes for short-term rehabilitation.
Meadow Ridge was developed by Senior Care Development LLC and is managed by Benchmark Senior Living. The community is located on 136 acres and includes 285 independent living apartment homes, as well as Ridge Crest health center.
