Sagewood Senior Living Fills Two Director-Level Positions

PHOENIX, AZ — Sagewood, a life-plan community in North Phoenix, has hired a new director of plant operations and a new director of human resources.

Sandi Grove, Sagewood’s new director of plant operations, has more than 20 years of experience in maintenance and engineering. He spent the last four years managing operations at various senior living communities and luxury resorts. Prior to that he served in the United States Navy. In his new role, Grove manages the maintenance and engineering team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community, including internal mechanical, electrical, landscaping and plumbing maintenance.

Desiree Cogley, the new director of human resources at Sagewood, has 23 years of experience in human resources and healthcare. She is new to senior living, having previously grown her career in human resource roles for a community health center in Phoenix. As director of human resources, Cogley will develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain qualified, hospitality-driven staff to provide services to the residents of Sagewood.

Sagewood is a life-plan community in Phoenix, featuring resort-like amenities including a fitness center, movie theaters, indoor and outdoor pools, 18-hole putting golf course, auditorium for multi-purpose use, formal and casual dining, and health center providing assisted living, memory-care support, skilled nursing, and a rehabilitative therapy center. Life Care Services and Westminster Capital are the joint-venture partners of Sagewood.
