Skilled Nursing Facility Miller Memorial Community is Sold

MERIDEN, CT — Miller Memorial Community, a 90-bed skilled nursing facility in this city halfway between New Haven and Hartford, has sold. The sale of the community, which features 19 active adult cottage-style apartments, was facilitated by Senior Living Investment Brokerage.

“SLIB was able to procure double digit qualified bids during its marketing period providing the seller with strong options to choose from,” said SLIB Senior Vice President Dave Balow in a press release. “The selected buyer exceeded the seller’s expectations and navigated the recently changed license transfer process in the state of Connecticut.”

The seller is a nonprofit based in Connecticut that had owned and operated this single community since its inception. The buyer is a growing Northeast-based private equity group.
