St. John’s Announces New Vice President of Senior Housing

October 6, 2021

St. John’s is pleased to announce that Anthony Zaccaglino has been promoted to vice president of senior housing after previously serving as director of operations for five years. Zaccaglino assumes the leadership position formerly held by Paul Bartlett, who retired after spending 30 years in the senior housing/retirement industry.

Zaccaglino will oversee day-to-day operations of St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone by St. John’s, both in Brighton. St. John’s Meadows offers multi-level, independent living in private, two-bedroom cottages and apartments and Brickstone by St. John’s, located on 30 acres, offers contemporary independent living in uniquely designed apartments, bungalows and townhomes.

Zaccaglino will lead the successful achievement of strategic, operation, quality and financial goals and will have direct oversight of an interdisciplinary team of more than 150 staff members working collaboratively to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to St. John’s residents. Zaccaglino’s responsibilities also include ensuring all New York State Department of Health regulations associated with St. John’s Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) certification are met.

“Tony has been an integral part of the St. John’s team for the past nine years and, with this promotion, we are thrilled to recognize his commitment to our residents and our organization,” St. John’s President and CEO Charlie Runyon said. “With his strategic insight and dedication to customer service, we look forward to Tony leading St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone by St. John’s while ensuring our senior housing continues to offer the best experience for our residents and staff.”
