The Springs at Carman Oaks Hires Mueller as Executive Director

LAKE OSWEGO, OR — Beth Mueller has joined The Springs at Carman Oaks as executive director. She oversees all aspects of the senior living community, which provides over 100 local jobs and serves more than 150 older adults in this northern Oregon city a few miles south of Portland.

“Beth brings in-depth leadership experience to the community, but more importantly, she demonstrates a warm and family-oriented approach with residents and staff that aligns naturally with The Springs Living values,” said Brenda Connelly, president of The Springs Living. “We have been impressed with her positive energy and enthusiasm for providing value-driven service.”

Mueller joined The Springs Living’s Lake Oswego property after a seven-year stint with Brookdale Senior Living, most recently as an executive director. She began her senior living career in 2011 as a life enrichment director for Merrill Gardens.

Founded in 1996 and based in McMinnville, Oregon, The Springs Living currently owns and operates 19 senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services in Oregon and Montana. When it opens in 2024, The Springs at The Waterfront will be its first community in Washington. The Springs Living was recognized in 2022 for the third consecutive year on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Aging Services list.
