Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola Celebrates Grand Opening of First Center in Florida

PENSACOLA, FL — Trinity Health PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), has celebrated the grand opening of its first center in the Florida Panhandle, located in this city on the Florida/Alabama border.
The festivities began late afternoon with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, and the theme for the event was “City of Five Flags,” representing Pensacola’s rich heritage in alignment with Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola’s commitment to diversity. The Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola team enjoyed the day as an exciting milestone, as they continue to grow and serve the senior community. Guests had the opportunity to tour the center at the event or schedule a tour in the future.
According to a press release, the 20,000-square-foot facility provides holistic care and support for up to 200 qualifying participants from Pensacola, with plans to expand its presence and services to surrounding Northwestern Florida communities. This center is expected to create approximately 100 new job opportunities in the healthcare, transportation, and social services sectors.
The center provides senior participants with a comprehensive range of services to support independent living or living with family, including primary and specialist care, telehealth, therapies, medication and medical supplies access, dental and vision care, behavioral health, and transportation, along with access to wellness programs and rehabilitation.
“We are thrilled to open this Trinity Health PACE community, offering a holistic approach to senior care that empowers Pensacola residents to live independently while receiving the comprehensive services they need,” said Anne Lewis, chief operating officer of Trinity Health PACE. “The community represents our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their families.”
“Our goal is to create a vibrant and supportive environment where seniors from diverse backgrounds can thrive both physically and socially in a community that reflects the rich culture of the Pensacola area,” said Travis Garrett, executive director of Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola. “We are excited to provide personalized care that helps each participant maintain their independence and live life to the fullest.”
Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola is accepting new participants ages 55 and older, who reside in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, and that are eligible and/or enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid. Participants who do not have Medicare or Medicaid have the option to privately pay with a monthly fee.
During the event, Trinity Health PACE of Pensacola recognized Jeannie Ledford, a devoted caregiver, in honor of National Caregiver Month. Ledford received this honor for her outstanding dedication to supporting and encouraging her husband. She exemplifies Trinity Health Core Values of Reverence, Stewardship, Integrity, and Safety. Additionally, Patricia Swann, the first participant enrolled at the center was recognized for “her remarkable spirit and joy”.
