ON THE MOVE: Recent Personnel Moves in Senior Living

Amanda Maestas has been named community relations director for Greenridge Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Westminster, Colorado; she is responsible for community outreach and marketing. Maestas brings over 18 years of senior living experience to this position.

MorningStar Senior Living, a Colorado-based developer, owner, and operator of senior communities, has named Natalie Bowen vice president of culinary and hospitality services. Bowen began working as a nutritional aide in skilled nursing before serving as director of nutrition and food services for a CCRC in Fort Worth, Texas, then as regional director of clinical nutrition for a post-acute provider in North Carolina. She also worked in Aramark’s senior living division as executive director of program compliance and vice president of operations.

Hermitage Roanoke, a senior living community in Roanoke, Virginia, has announced in a press release the appointment of Michael Davis as its new executive director. Davis brings extensive leadership experience in long-term care, with published research focused on enhancing quality outcomes in senior living through creative approaches such as music therapy. He has led operations in both skilled nursing and assisted living settings.

Nathan Shifflett has joined Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital as its food service director.

Maplewood Senior Living has welcomed back Jason Wallin as corporate director of culinary services; he brings more than 20 years of culinary leadership, including his previous tenure supporting the launch of Maplewood’s Brewster, Massachusetts, community and serving as senior culinary director for its Cape Cod communities.

Jenna Johnston is now the divisional VP of operations at Grace Management.

Enso Village, a Zen-inspired life plan community in Sonoma County, California, has announced Katie Hensley as life enrichment director; she brings more than 14 years of experience in senior living enrichment programming. She has led initiatives ranging from intergenerational activities and music programs to dementia training sessions, while also collaborating with community organizations.

Pam Hardesty has joined Trustwell Living as regional director of operations.

Legend Senior Living, a senior living provider that operates more than 70 residences in six states, has expanded its management team by adding Brian Donnelly as director of dining experience; he brings more than 35 years of dining and restaurant expertise.
