WEST CHESTER, PA – (August 27, 2026) – Barclay Friends, a Kendal Affiliate, has announced the appointment of Laura K. Wortman and Glen Reyburn to its Board of Directors.
Rooted in Quaker values, Barclay Friends strives to support older adults with compassion as they embrace the realities of aging, and Laura and Glen’s professional expertise, community service and philanthropy will significantly contribute to that mission.
Laura K. Wortman
Laura brings extensive experience in healthcare advancement, fundraising, marketing and communications. As Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, she helps guide advancement strategy and strengthen philanthropic engagement.
Laura’s career includes leadership positions at several prominent academic and healthcare institutions, as well as service with nonprofit boards. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Her dedication to philanthropy and community service closely reflects the Quaker values of Barclay Friends.

Glen Reyburn
Glen brings more than 30 years of experience in private banking, financial planning and wealth management. A Chartered Financial Consultant, she has built her career helping individuals, families and organizations make informed financial decisions through personalized guidance and strong client relationships.
A longtime Chester County resident, Glen is actively involved in the region’s nonprofit and professional communities, with a particular commitment to organizations supporting older adults, families and mental health services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Villanova University.
“Glen brings financial expertise and a longstanding dedication to strengthening the organizations that serve our region,” Maria said. “Her commitment to older adults and her deep nonprofit involvement across Chester County will add an important perspective to the board.”
