Anthem Memory Care Promotes Lewis McCoy to President

WEST LINN, Ore. — Anthem Memory Care has promoted Lewis McCoy, Ph.D., to president, expanding his leadership responsibilities across the company’s operations, infrastructure and growth initiatives.
McCoy previously served as chief operating officer. In that role, he led the development of operating systems and platforms, supported the opening and ongoing operations of new development projects and oversaw the rollout of management services for acquired communities.
As president, McCoy will focus on operational efficiency, research and development, process improvement and innovation, according to the company.
“I am honored to take on this new role and help lead Anthem Memory Care into its next chapter of growth,” McCoy said. “By investing in our people, refining our operations and embracing innovation and emerging technologies, we will continue to strengthen our ability to serve residents, families and team members while remaining true to our mission to protect, engage and love people living with memory loss.”
McCoy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Linfield University, an MBA from George Fox University, a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lewis & Clark University and a doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from Liberty University.
West Linn-based Anthem operates and develops memory care communities in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
