Charter Senior Living of Charlotte Names Hampton Memory Care Director

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charter Senior Living of Charlotte has announced in a press release the appointment of April Hampton as the community’s new memory care director.

Hampton’s health care career began more than 20 years ago in Rochester, New York. She has gained extensive experience in community health, psychiatric nursing, home care, long-term care, staff education, and dementia care. Driven by personal experiences caring for her own family members, Hampton has a special place in her heart for memory care.

“I cared for my mother and uncle, who were both diagnosed with Alzheimer’s years ago,” she shared. “I understand firsthand what families go through and how to help residents with dementia.”

Hampton provides supervision, guidance, and educational resources to the staff at Charter Senior Living of Charlotte.
