New Boutique-Inspired Senior Living Community in Charlottesville to Celebrate Grand Opening
November 8, 2021
Local seniors will soon welcome a new, vibrant and upscale senior living community, Anthology of Charlottesville, located at 343 Archer Avenue. On Thursday, November 11, at 3 p.m., the area’s newest senior living community is celebrating their grand opening with a series of events, including a ribbon-cutting, hors d’oeuvres, live music and tours of the community.
“Anthology of Charlottesville has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate every resident’s needs and, more importantly, their wants,” said Senior Vice President of Operations at Anthology, Erin Caswell. “A core tenet of the Anthology philosophy is to create an environment where everyone can live well and focus on continuing their life story. The team we have at Anthology of Charlottesville embodies that, and we couldn’t be more excited to open the doors.”
The new 180,000-square-foot senior living community features 179 apartments and provides independent living, assisted living and memory care. Anthology of Charlottesville offers vibrant, upscale amenities and Anthology’s signature programs: Elements Activities, Entice Dining and Virtue Memory Care. The Entice culinary program offers a wide selection of menu options, all prepared from scratch daily by in-house chefs.
On-site amenities are designed to promote an engaging, active and social lifestyle and will include formal and casual dining spaces, a bistro, salon and barbershop, courtyards, outdoor spaces with fireplaces and gardening, indoor pool, golf simulator, fitness center, theater and more.
According to a recent report by the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 20% of the Albemarle County population has already reached age 65 and older, a number that will continue to climb as the baby boomers age. This community will provide more options and amenities, as well as meet the changing desires of the newest generation of seniors.
