April 16, 2026
WALTHAM and WALPOLE, Mass. — Benchmark Senior Living has named Adam Manchester senior campus executive director, effective immediately. In the newly created role, Manchester will oversee operations for the company’s continuing care retirement communities, or CCRCs.
“We are always looking for better ways to support our CCRCs and the associates, residents and families who make them so special,” said Jake Quigley, Benchmark’s senior vice president of operations. “As our organization grows and our communities evolve, it’s important that our leadership structure evolves as well.”
Manchester will be responsible for operations across four Benchmark communities: Edgehill in Stamford, Conn.; Meadow Ridge in Redding, Conn.; New Pond Village in Walpole, Mass.; and The Commons in Lincoln, Mass.
Manchester has served as campus executive director at New Pond Village for seven years and will continue to lead that community while taking on the expanded portfolio role, the company said.
“The work that we do at Benchmark impacts the lives of so many people,” Manchester said. “It is my honor to bring my experience and dedication to senior living to all our CCRCs.”
He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in senior living and joined Benchmark in 2002 as a home office accountant. He later served in leadership roles including associate executive director and executive director at Harbor Point at Centerville, and executive director positions at Haverhill Crossings, The Falls at Cordingly Dam and Billerica Crossings. He was also the opening executive director for Benchmark at Woburn in 2016.
Benchmark Senior Living is based in Waltham, Mass. It operates senior living communities across the Northeast, including independent living, assisted living, memory care and continuing care.
