November 11, 2024
BRUSH, CO — Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center has announced the acquisition of four assisted living communities in Northeast Colorado from The Harmony Home. The newly acquired communities, in Fort Morgan, Yuma, and two in Sterling, will operate under the Eben Ezer brand.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Harmony Home into the Eben Ezer family,” said CEO Shelly Griffith in a LinkedIn post. “Our goal will continue to be the delivery of high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each resident. This acquisition allows us to extend our mission to even more individuals throughout Northeast Colorado. This expansion also allows us to offer more growth opportunities for our team members as we continue working through our strategic goals. Eben Ezer is vested in this community. We have been here for over 100 years, continually evolving to meet the needs of our community. This is a great opportunity to expand our mission while focused on enhancing care.”
“Scott and I have had the privilege of meeting and caring for so many amazing families over the past seven years,” stated Kendall Rubottom, the current owner of The Harmony Home. “We are extremely grateful to care for so many incredible people in a safe and loving environment. We also want to thank the outstanding employees we have worked with. The Harmony Home would not have been successful without your love, care and dedication to our residents and their families. We are excited for this transition and to work with the leadership and staff at Eben Ezer. We are confident that they will give The Harmony Home the support they need to provide residents with the same quality of care that has always been our main priority.”
Rubottom will be staying on for three months to help with the transition process.
Eben Ezer operates five communities, which include skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care, along with Lifeline, its personal-response system for people in Northeast Colorado.
